The round is led by the Fogarty Wine Group, with chair Peter Fogarty joining The Wine Collective as chairman.

Melbourne’s Constant Innovation Group also contributed to the round, bringing expertise in marketplace platforms, in particular.

The Wine Collective was created in something of an unusual fashion in 2016, when Heinrich acquired the databases of existing direct-to-consumer wine merchants, and set out to bring them into the digital age.

Stephen Casscles, the author of “Grapes of the Hudson Valley” and a renowned grape grower and winemaker, said that new attention is being given to what are called heritage grapes from conventional growers and winemakers. The term “heritage” applies to grapes that were bred and developed in the United States and are at least 100 years old as their own varietal of grape. “Heritage is the academic title,” Casscles said, but others sometimes use the term “heirloom” to describe the grape, as the grapes were often given colloquial names or names of families from the area or origin and were often grown in a specific region by a small group of people.

Most heritage grapes that are becoming popularized in commercial production originate in the Hudson Valley or Boston’s North Shore. In his

The Wine and Cheese Club: “All Night Long” and “Stadia II”

Adella Miesner

“Mixed-media art pairings that go together like fine wine and good cheese.”

Near Christmas-time, on a cloudy day full of holiday traffic, I was taking the Metro down to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) as a way to fill a lazy weekend day. I like to use my time on public transportation to relax and explore. On this particular day, I was exploring the music of Jacob Collier, upon a friend’s recommendation. Jacob Collier is an English musician best known for his reharmonization (a fancy word for changing the harmony that goes with a pre-existing melody). The first song of his that I listened to was “All Night Long (feat. Take 6),” Collier’s cover of Lionel Richie’s 1983 hit single. With his remarkable knowledge of music theory, he reworks Lionel Richie’s piece into an orchestral, choral, funk masterpiece.

As I walked into LACMA with Collier’s cover

Wine Ambassador Joins National Effort to Raise Awareness for Breast Cancer With Intro of Pink Label for Wines Delivered in October

Adella Miesner

NAPA, Calif. – October 12, 2020 – ( Newswire.com )

Every wine tells its own story and contributes to the human experience, according to the team at Wine Ambassador. During October, the organization’s wines are sending a message of hope and support to women who have survived and are living with breast cancer. All wine deliveries will, in fact, include a signature pink label and a portion of proceeds from those bottles will be donated to the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation at the close of the month.

Wine Ambassador is an exclusive fine wine club launched earlier this year by a group of Napa Valley wine industry experts. Its members choose to become a Customer or an Ambassador.

Customers pay a monthly membership fee to have curated fine wines delivered to their door each month. Ambassadors can host wine tastings and make commissions on membership sales and earn other perks.
