CLEVELAND, Ohio – Walla Walla, Washington-based Nocking Point Wines has been named official wine of the Cleveland Cavaliers, the team announced Thursday.

The team and winery are launching a Cavaliers Curated Wine Club that sends Nocking Point wines featuring works of Cleveland artists on the labels. The wine will be packaged with Cavaliers merchandise. Varietals are being determined.

Part of the proceeds will benefit Greater Cleveland Food Bank.

The Cavaliers are Nocking Point’s first sports partner and first team to launch a curated wine as part of the company’s upcoming sports-bottle collection. The winery has collaborated with celebrities like Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Jason Momoa and others.

On its website, Nocking Point bills itself as “the official wine of sports.” Some of its offerings include The Comeback red blend with former New England Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi and A Little Bit of the Bubbly with wrestler Chris Jericho.

The winery will be highlighted with digital signage throughout Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse at Cavs games, and a Nocking Point branded area will be located on the street-level concourse. The winery served as presenting partner of Cavs social and digital content coming out of the team’s recent mini bubble in Cleveland.

Both the Indians and Browns in recent years have partnered with wine companies for specialized bottles.
