A Disney customer has been slammed as rude after refusing to tip for service on top of dishing out almost €40 on a pepperoni pizza.

The customer was at one of the theme park’s many food outlets and had paid $45.05 (€38) for a pizza with pepperoni, olives, mushrooms and onions.

When the bill arrived, they were asked if they could leave a €7 tip for the table service.

However, the holidaymaker refused to tip due to the price of the pizza, writing: ‘Sorry not to tip but this price is outrageous.’

The bill made its way to a Disney Facebook group where the customer was blasted as ‘rude’ and inconsiderate to the service staff.

Although some defended the customer, pointing out that $45 was an awful lot to fork out on the pizza, others pointed out that staff do not control the pricing.

‘This annoys me because the poor servers don’t get a say in pricing! I tip based on service not price.’

Another said: ‘If you can afford to go to Disney you can afford to tip.’

Others suggested ‘packing a sandwich’ next time and they pointed out that they still ate the pizza.

‘I don’t give a f*** if the pizza is overpriced. You ate it, and the price is not your server’s responsibility.’

Someone else said: ‘Holy sh** there’s no way I’d pay that much for a pizza. But it’s Disney, what do you expect?’
