As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect Wisconsin, bars and restaurants around Milwaukee have heated up their patios to keep outdoor seating a safer and more viable option longer.

At Random

Historic cocktail lounge At Random renovated two years ago. Its patio has been updated with outdoor heaters. 

At Random is open from 4 to 10 p.m.  Tuesday through Thursday, 4 to 11 p.m. Fridays, noon to 11 p.m. Saturdays, and noon to 10 p.m. on Sundays.

Bonobo American Bistro

4518 N. Oakland Ave., Shorewood (414) 964-4663

This Shorewood restaurant focuses on healthy plates. It has outdoor dining on its patio with heaters.

It is open 4 to 9 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 4 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for Sunday brunch with a Bloody Mary bar, and dinner 3:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday.

This downtown Irish bar has a heated patio that overlooks the Milwaukee River. 

Harp Irish Pub is open from 4 p.m. to bar close Tuesday through Friday, and noon to bar close Saturdays and Sundays.

This neighborhood sports bar has a patio larger than its inside area. It has heaters throughout to keep customers warm. 

Liquid Johnny’s is open 2 p.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to bar close Fridays and Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to midnight on Sundays.

This fine dining place near Cathedral Square added heaters and table fireplaces to its patio dining area.

This downtown spot has a large, heated outdoor bar. It also has a giant fire pit people can sit around to keep warm.

The sidewalk patio at Oak Barrel got heaters this year so customers can stay warm year round.

This place on the east side has a patio that overlooks the Milwaukee River. Heaters were recently installed to keep the patio open longer.
