Lucy Hale is all of us right now in our sixth or seventh month of quarantine. And no, I don’t mean she’s spending her days scrolling through TikTok and trying to stay alert in Zoom classes. I’m talking about the fact that she just dyed her hair in her kitchen sink.

The actress showed off her new red locks on Instagram on Monday, sharing a video with the caption, “did a thing.”

The fact that Lucy dyed her signature black hair isn’t even the most shocking part. The Pretty Little Liars actress revealed on her Instagram story that she underwent the hair transformation while lying on her kitchen counter.

OK, so it’s not exactly the same as the time you and your sister dyed pieces of your hair blue in the beginning of quarantine because you were bored. It seems like Lucy had her colorist, Kristin Ess, come over and go through the full professional process from the comfort and safety of Lucy’s home. According to Kristin, both she and Lucy took COVID tests before the treatment.

The whole process was totally worth it because the results are gorg. Even Lucy’s celeb doppelgänger, Sarah Hyland, agreed. In fact, Sarah, who recently went red as well, couldn’t help but see the resemblance with Lucy. “LEGIT THOUGHT THIS WAS ME,” she commented on Lucy’s pic.

Later, Lucy shared a screenshot from a conversation between the two actresses where Sarah shared a pic of her own red hair. “Officially twins now?” Sarah asks and, honestly, I think so.
